Widgets
We have created Android Home Screen Widgets for several of the top Android community websites: androidandme.com, and.roid.es, and googleandblog.com. These Widgets provide easy access to each site’s RSS news feed, so that their readers can better keep up to date. In each case we worked with the site to determine the needs for the Widget and to design and implement to those specifications.
Android And Me

For Android And Me, we worked closely with Graphic Designer and Android And Me administrator Clark Wimberly (ClarkLab), and Android And Me founder Taylor Wimberly. Clark provided an outstanding set of graphics and general layout from which we were able to build a nice, clean looking, and highly functional news widget. This was actually our second iteration of this widget, and provided major improvements over the previous version.
Features Include:
Variable Update Frequency
Small and Large Size Widgets
Customizable Notifications (Icon, LED, Vibrate)
Google And Blog

For Google And Blog, our requirements were nearly identical to those for Android And Me. Luckily, this meant that we could utilize the framework we had created for the Android And Me widget for this one. This time, nEx.Software provided the graphical design and layout, rather than working with an outside designer.
Features Include:
Variable Update Frequency
Small and Large Size Widgets
Customizable Notifications (Icon, LED, Vibrate)
and.roid.es

One of our older iterations, this widget had a much smaller set of requirements than those for Android And Me and Google And Blog. For this one, we opted for simplicity and left out configuration options and much of the graphical flare that our other widgets include. Instead we delivered a code framework and some generic graphic guidelines from which the client could built their own visuals.
Features Include:
Hourly Update Frequency
Notification of New Stories
